Family Nature camp at Kanha Tiger reserve- 6-11th May 2024
When the children enjoy such great camps, the parents don’t want to be left behind and let the children have all the fun.
So, we had a family camp for parent- child at Kanha tiger reserve, M.P, which has been one of the most inspiring places in nature. It is a Tiger’s haven & birders paradise and the Butterflies & insects are also unique to this area.
Summers provide challenge of heat and also create better opportunity to sight more animals and birds as they stay near water bodies.
We had full four days of safaris and birding trails. The landscape of Kanha is unique in its variety with Hills, Plateaus, Vast Grasslands, Sal forests and more.
Students planted some medicinal plants in the campus and took oath to maintain them.
Kanha is one of the oldest Tiger reserves of India and boasts many success stories of Animal conservation and revival of species like the Hard ground Barasingha (Swamp deer), Indian Gaur and more.
Summers provide challenge of heat and also create better opportunity to sight more animals and birds as they stay near water bodies.
The welcoming rains made the Sal forest of Kanha even more beautiful and the weather very pleasant.
The Bamni river nearby presented an opportunity to play water sports and cool off in the summer heat.
The sightings were insane, from 11 different tigers & one leopard to over 45 species of birds.
Sit back and enjoy the pics.
