Introduction session for lake study project in MG school of excellence on 12.4.21. by Mr Jai Sharma. Students of class 9th and 10th were introduced to the year long project on Bangalore lakes. They have a beautiful and large lake called Madiwala near there school. Students were shown history of Bangalore lakes, their functions and the present problems like pollution due to dumping of sewage and drainages. The habitat loss for birds and other aquatic life forms. They were explained on how their long term observations will lead to understanding the causes and problems these lakes face and what topics they can select for their projects on creating awareness and improvements like plantations, cleaning up drives, community involvement.
