Two day nature study camp for G7 students of NPS Kudlu branch at Bannerghatta Biological park on 7-8th August 2024

If Grade 8 had a gala time, Grade 7 was not far behind. They were equally geared to play more and learn more.
The two day nature camp gave them an opportunity to rediscover themselves amidst the wilderness.
The ‘happy’ hormones released from soil, (thanks to the bacteria & microbes) and absorbed through our food and air, keeps us calm and reduce stress.
This was experienced first-hand by students as they remained fully charged and energetic throughout the two days and learnt about the inter dependence between tiniest life forms to largest animals.
The importance of healthy soil and water for all living forms was also shown in natural environment.
These connections will help them develop a better understanding of their classroom learning while relating to their topics.
This will go a long way in building their character making them responsible citizens of future.
